How to benefit from the measures offered by SPHERE-Québec

We recommend that all eligible persons – who are considered to be disabled in the sense of the law, who are unemployed, and who do not have access to Employment Insurance – follow the steps below:

1. Contact a specialized labour service or another worker in the socioprofessional sector (list of resources).
2. The needs of the person and his or her situation will be evaluated in order to develop an individualized action plan.
3. An appropriate solution will be devised with the participation of the disabled person and the other stakeholders.
4. The request will be sent to one of the regional offices of SPHERE-Québec, which can support the person during specific steps in their progression.

SPHERE-Québec has put in place a powerful system to ensure that applications are processed quickly.

Finally, during the activity, SPHERE-Québec will conduct a regular follow-up to identify any problems, make any necessary corrections, and collect information on the results obtained.
